Thoughts on “Minimalism: Living a Meaningful Life” Chapter 3 8/23/2012

For the next 7 weeks, starting on Monday 8/6, I am going to read a book called “Minimalism: Live A Meaningful Life” by Joshua Fields Millburn and Ryan Nicodemus. I am reading one chapter a week (as suggested) and see where I end up. I want to invite you to join me for the next 7 weeks if it sounds interesting to you. Chapter 3 of Minimalism: Live a Meaningful Life

Evaluating Current Relationships:
How did you relationships “inventory” go? I found this honest look into all of my relationships quite insightful.

“Do they make you happy?”
“Do they satisfy you?”
“Are they supportive?”
“Do they help you grow?”
“Do they contribute to your life in positive, meaningful ways?”

I discovered some individuals that I would really like to see play a larger role in my life. And the above list reminded me that I want to be those things for others in my life, but I have to be intentional about doing it, or it will not happen.

There was definitely a lot to consider, but well worth the investment of time!
